    A second order test for evaluation of selected patients with humoral or combined immunodeficiency. Also useful in some patients with hypogammaglobulinemia and those with possible immunodeficiency and normal total IgG levels.
  • Spec Collect:
    Gold top (SST) or Red top (serum) tube. Mix by inverting tube 5 times.
  • Spec Process:
    Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Centrifuge to separate serum from cells within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum to a screw-capped plastic transport tube. (Min: 0.45 mL)

    Refrigerated.
